Walk the historic Gaslamp Quarter where there's tons of restaurants and bars. Visit the USS Midway Museum. Snap a pic in front of the famous Unconditional Surrender statue featuring a Navy Sailor kissing a woman in 1945 after WWII. Take the ferry to Coronado Island or sightsee from San Diego Bay Tours. Browse the Seaport Village and The Headquarters. Visit the famous Top Gun Bar from the Tom Cruise movie Top Gun.
So many amazing restaurants and places to eat in this area. Highly recommend if you're craving some pasta or pizza! For brunch, we love Morning Glory but they don't take reservations so be sure to get there early. Check out Civico 1845 for some delicious pasta. Fun fact: this is where our engagement photos were taken.
A great place to get some Mexican food- be sure to stop at a place that makes homemade tortillas! A fun place to walk around with lots of restaurants, stores, and vendors to shop at. Family and kid friendly. Also where you can find the historic Whaley House known to be haunted!
A cute area with lots of food/restaurant options as well as some small shops and vendors. If you love beer be sure to check out Stone Brewery. Also check out Pigment, one of Richele's favorite plant/gift shops. Great for families and kids.

One of our favorite ice cream spots! There are multiple locations throughout San Diego. Our must try and favorite flavors are ube+pandesal toffee and mango sticky rice.
Drive over the bridge for a scenic view of the bay. Check out the iconic Hotel Del Coronado. Walk downtown with lots of cute restaurants and shops. Fun fact: this is where Paolo drives to work everyday to one of the US Navy bases
Looking for a fun day or night out? PB is the spot for lots of bars and restaurants located right off the beach. Paolo and Richele love coming to this area in the summer to rollerblade along the sidewalk and get some sunshine or stop by Waterbar for scenic views of the beach while enjoying a cocktail and some clam chowder.
A gorgeous place to watch the sunset and take pics. Paolo and Richele like to ride his motorcycle here to catch the sunset. Close to Ocean Beach, another cute beach area with lots of fun shops and food places to check out.

Another great place to visit for families and kids as well as adults. Lots of beautiful scenery to take in and get some sunshine and fresh air. The Japanese Friendship Garden is located here as well as the San Diego Zoo. Paolo & Richele loved visiting the Japanese Friendship Garden and highly recommend a visit if you're looking for a peaceful afternoon.
