It was April 2022 and we were both one block away from finishing our first year of medical school. So far it had been no cake walk to say the least. We found ourselves paired together in the same study group, spending the next 8 weeks in small group classes and sharing study space. Small conversations about class evolved to thinking aloud to one another while thinking through difficult concepts - and it was a story about two people who just clicked. It started about school, evolving into talks about life, the future, and everything else in-between. Study time became social; social time became dates; and love soon after.
