Question

Holy week in Antigua?

Answer

Antigua is deemed the "World's Most Beautiful Holy Week Celebration" (Forbes, 2019) and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. People from all over the world come to see the colorful sawdust rugs and processions. The whole city fills with color (and crowds of people) from Sunday, April 2 to Saturday, April 8: a week before the wedding. Keep this in mind when you do your reservations. If you wish to see this unique site, take the chance and come between those dates to Antigua. If not: wait until Monday 10th to get there.
