FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We love your little ones and are happy to have them celebrate with us. We just ask that they’re supervised during the ceremony and key moments so everyone can enjoy the moment. Also, please note that we’ll be playing music with explicit lyrics later in the evening, so feel free to bring headphones or make childcare arrangements if that’s a concern.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony begins, so if the invite says 2:00 PM, aim to be there by 1:30 PM sharp. This gives you time to park, find your seat, say hi to a few familiar faces, and get settled before the magic starts. Plus, you won’t risk walking in mid-vow and ending up in someone’s wedding video. 💐✨

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal with a disco twist, think suits, cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or coordinated sets that are ready to groove. Don’t be afraid to play with funky prints, fun textures, or a little sparkle to match our Disco/Retro vibe! Just one thing: absolutely no jeans. If you’re unsure or want help styling something fabulous, don’t be shy, ask one of us!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We totally get it! Weddings are more fun with a date! If you would like a plus one, ask the bride, she can’t read minds! Don’t be afraid to ask! she’ll do her best to accommodate, and if it’s not possible, she’ll let you know with love (and probably a virtual hug). Please don’t bring a guest on the fly! we want to make sure everyone has a seat, food, and a spot on the dance floor!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson is a good option!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely!! We want all of our guests to be able to eat!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, which means we kindly ask that all phones and cameras be tucked away during the entirety of the ceremony. We’ve hired professional photographers to capture every second and truthfully, we’d rather see your smiles, your tears, and your full hearts in our photos than the backs of your phones. After the ceremony? Go OFF. Snap the vibes, film the dance floor, selfie with disco balls, we want it ALL. Just save the tech for the reception, and be fully present with us for the moment that matters most. 💖

Question

Who do I contact the day of?

Answer

On the big day, I’ll be a little preoccupied saying “I do,” soaking up every second, and probably crying over The Beat Day Ever, so I may not see any messages in time. If you have any questions, concerns, or last-minute chaos to report, please reach out to one of our amazing point people instead: 💬 Lyndsey – Maid of Honor Number will be here day of :) 💬 Fety – Best Man Number will be here day of :) They’ve got the info, the schedule, and the sanity to help you out. Please try to avoid messaging me directly so nothing gets missed!
