What are the best ways to travel within Italy?

Answer

Renting a car is always a great option! Most vehicles in Europe are manual, so be sure to request an automatic if needed. Please note you will need to apply for an international drivers license in order to rent. Italy is also full of public transportation options. Most cities are reachable by train. Check out apps such as Trainline to pre-purchase tickets at a discounted rate!

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

Formal attire is requested. We ask all of our guests to dress their best! No colors are off limits besides white of course! Ladies may wear midi or floor length gowns and men please dress in black tie suites or tuxes. Think Italian summer, James Bond, Vogue!

Where should I stay?

Answer

We understand Italy is a long way from home, and we so grateful for all who are able to make this trip! We hope you get to enjoy your time in Italy aside from our big day. If you are looking to stay local, there are many Airbnbs in and around Vicchcio. If you are looking for more of a city vibe, you can search Florence for alternative Hotels and rooms as it is only about an hours drive away. We encourage you to make this trip your own and take advantage of all Italy has to offer! You can find anything from snow capped mountains in the North to crystal clear seas all along the coast and every city has a rich history that's exciting to explore! You can reach almost any point by train!

Can we come over?

Answer

Of course! We want to spend as much time with all our family and friends as possible! We will be at the Villa from the 28th of August - 2nd of September. We will post an itinerary on our site that we welcome everyone partake in!

Are children allowed?

Answer

Yes! We are happy to host you and your family. However we understand children can be unpredictable, and so we please ask that you excuse yourself in the event of any unforeseen outbursts so to keep the day running smooth for the couple and the rest of the guests!

Should I bring a swimsuit?

Answer

Yes. We plan to have a pool party at the villa the day after the wedding on the 31st of August!

What weather should I expect in Italy?

Answer

In late August you can expect temperatures around 80-90 degrees during the day and dipping into the 60s in the evening.

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be held outside in front of the villa followed by the cocktail hour by the pool and the reception will be outside on the back terrace. The first floor of the villa will be open to guests.
