Looking for a low key activity to fill some time while your’re in town? Visit Seneca One Tower, the tallest building in our city, to see Ashley’s mural “The Tunnel of Buffalove”. This is Ashley’s largest mural of her career and spans the entire length of the tunnel that runs underneath the building. You can take a drive right through, or park your car/uber there and walk through to see all the details up close!

Originally named Gala Water, this lake continues to be an iconic feature of Delaware Park. Today, the 1.1 mile loop around the lake provides a scenic walk, as well as access to meadow areas and spectacular views of the water. In December 1962, the city of Buffalo joined the United States Sister City International initiative by connecting with Kanazawa, Japan and a wonderful history of sharing resources has grown. In 1996, Kanazawa was largely responsible for the major renovations to the Japanese Garden of Buffalo providing trees, shrubs, paths and the unique stone lanterns. Located behind The Buffalo History Museum in the Olmsted Conservancy’s Delaware Park, the lush gardens and serene lake provide a contemplative refuge for all of Buffalo to enjoy

This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are May through October. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

The Eternal Flame Falls is a small waterfall located in the Shale Creek Preserve, a section of Chestnut Ridge Park in Western New York. A small grotto at the waterfall's base emits natural gas, which can be lit to produce a small flame. This flame is visible nearly year round, although it can be extinguished and must occasionally be re-lit.
To see “Windows on Buffalo”, take an elevator to the 25th floor and walk up 3 flights for a spectacular view of the Queen City! Dedicated in 1932, City Hall is an Art Deco masterpiece with outstanding murals in the grand lobby. Also see the magnificent skylight in the Common Council Chambers on the 13th floor.
