The Portland Rose Parade is something I had always wanted to attend since first moving to Portland in 2014. We finally had plans to go this time! Michael rounded up my parents and a few close friends for an afternoon of adventures in Downtown Portland. First stop was City Fair. Then a quick bite to eat before the parade started. We had an awesome time and a great first year at the Rose Parade! As the evening wound down, I suggested we all grab a drink at Portland City Grill. Little did I know, my life was about to change forever. We ordered appetizers and drinks, and enjoyed each other's company as the night came to an end. All of the sudden, Michael took the stage. He stood up, pushed his chair back and gathered his words. With the attention of our friends and family, he got down on one knee and asked the question I had been waiting to hear since we met! Of course, I said yes! Apparently, everyone in the restaurant had witnessed this sweet moment too, as the room exploded with cheering and congratulations. I couldn't be more excited to be your wife, Michael. ❤️
