We’re getting married!

We met online and our love story began all because two people swiped right on Bumble!

Our first date consisted of a movie and a long drive out to Port Huron! At first we went to see Halloween Ends. At the end of the movie we decided to take a drive so we could chat along the way and get to know each other better. Little did we know that chat would get us all the way to Port Huron as we tried to complete the quest of finding a gas station with AirHead Xtremes Bluest Raspberry candy in stock. We stopped at every gas station along the way until one Speedway finally had them in stock. We chatted and laughed the whole way there, enjoyed our candy by the water and then headed back home to end the night.

Before the proposal, we decided to take a trip up to Mackinac Island and the Upper Peninsula for a short weekend getaway. We enjoyed biking and hiking over 15 miles on the island, sampling fudge and getting the infamous milkshakes at the Grand Hotel’s Tea Room located in Fort Mackinac. We also traveled up to the Soo Locks to watch the freighters pass through the lock system. On the way back home, we stopped in Port Huron where Will wanted to watch some freighters pass by on the water. Shortly after arriving in Port Huron Will lead Sarah to the exact place we stopped to enjoy our snack by the water and got down on one knee. Little did Sarah know both her parents and Will’s parents were hiding close by watching the whole proposal. We ended the evening with a great dinner on the water to celebrate!
