Niblett's Apple Shed
Our go to place for the best caramel apples. Go for the caramel apples, stay for the caramel apples (or really, go back for them 15 minutes later after you've eaten all of yours).
Devil's Punchbowl Preserve
A beautiful natural "punchbowl" located 10 minutes away.
Hoffman Hills State Recreation Area
A great view of the fall foliage awaits you from the Hoffman Hills Observation Deck!
Soulspace Sanctuary
A cute little animal sanctuary where Domenico got to hold a chicken for the first time! His name was Hei Hei.
Bushel & A Peck
Explore their corn maze, and try out local varieties of apple like the Connell Red! (Pang's mom's favorite apple). Make sure to go to Niblett's though for the Caramel Apples! You've been warned.
Antique Emporium
Boasting three floors of antiques, you could spend hours here window shopping. They have beautiful Victorian Memento Mori Hair pieces, antique prints and more.
Willow River State Park
A scenic State Park that boasts beautiful hiking trails. 45 minutes away from Menomonie, you can stop to hike on your way to or from the MSP airport.
Interstate State Park
Explore and hike beautiful cliffs overseeing the St Croix River. Minnesota is just on the other side!
Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts
Our venue for your ceremony and reception, this historic theater was built by a Lumber Baron (Captain Andrew Tainter) in 1889 as a memorial to his daughter, Mabel Tainter. Tours can be taken Friday and Saturday from 12 PM-3 PM or by appointment. Tours will not be given on the day of our wedding. The interior of the building contains hand stenciled walls and ceilings, marble staircase and floors, leaded stained glass windows, walnut and oak woodwork, brass fixtures, and four fireplaces, each built with a different stone or technique. The theater still contains the original Steere & Turner tracker pipe organ. It is said to be haunted! And features Opera seats brought in from New York City, and the only functional historic butterfly curtain in the world.

Dunnville State Wildlife Area
Enjoy the beautiful riverfront, trails and beach. Located less than thirty minutes west of Menomonie. We enjoy collecting rocks from this riverbed. Swim at your own caution, as the river looks deceptively shallow and slow!
