They had their first date at Pancho’s Burritos in New Milford, New Jersey. Doug brought a purple corsage for the occasion, which Emily wore with delight. With butterflies in their stomachs, they enjoyed dinner and a few margaritas.

On a detour to their vacation to Nashville, they visited the breath-taking Biltmore Mansion in Asheville, North Carolina. After touring the rooms and gardens, Doug popped the question on the balcony at the rear of the mansion, over-looking the Great Smoky Mountains. Emily said yes!
