Accommodations

We know many of you are traveling to join us, and we truly appreciate the effort it takes to be here. Napa Valley in September is a popular time, especially with the harvest, which has made securing room blocks at hotels in Saint Helena and Calistoga more challenging than we hoped. We want to be upfront that, despite our best efforts, we haven’t yet been able to lock in special rates or blocks. Please know we’re continuing to explore options and will update you as soon as anything becomes available. In the meantime, to help you plan, we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite nearby hotels and inns that you might consider for your stay. We hope this makes your trip a little easier and more comfortable—we can’t wait to share this special time with you.

Hotel

Bothe-Napa Valley State Park

3801 Saint Helena Highway, Calistoga, CA 94515

Practically across the street from our wedding, this state park is a beautiful setting to explore and/or stay. They have tent camping as well as yurts for rent. If you are feeling adventurous and outdoorsy, this is the place for you!

House Or Rental

Airbnb

While Napa Valley generally has restrictions on short-term rentals, there are still several Airbnb options available for the weekend of our wedding. Since the venue is nearly halfway between St. Helena and Calistoga, we recommend looking for places anywhere between those towns—or even as far south as Napa or as far west as Santa Rosa, if you don’t mind a beautiful drive through the area.

Hotel

Best Western Plus Stevenson Manor

1830 Lincoln Avenue, Calistoga, CA 94515

This hotel in Calistoga is clean, cool, and one of our favorite places to stay (affordably - fingers crossed) during a staycation.

Travel Note

Harvest Season in Napa Valley

Harvest season is truly one of the most magical times to visit Napa Valley. With vines full of nearly ripe Cabernet and Zinfandel grapes, the landscape is absolutely breathtaking and full of life. It’s a special time that draws visitors from near and far to experience the beauty and energy of the valley. Because so many people want to enjoy this season, roads can be busier, accommodations tend to book up quickly, and traffic may be heavier than usual. Many wineries also require reservations during this time, so if you plan to do some wine tasting or sightseeing, we recommend booking ahead to make the most of your visit. We hope this heads-up helps you enjoy all that this wonderful season has to offer with ease and joy!
