We decided that it was most important that everyone (including us) was comfortable and ready to relax and enjoy our event. So no suits, ties, gowns or other stuffy clothes. Of course, please feel free to "bring it" and wear your best casual fabulosity!
The ceremony will be outdoors on a balcony overlooking the city of San Diego. The venue has space both indoors and outdoors so be ready for things to cool off once the sun sets.
If we could have figured out a way to get the Coopster certified as a service dog, you know we would have made him our ring bearer. Alas, Ultimate Skybox has some rules we had to follow. :-(
It is #pandywed. Please feel free to use it across all social media platforms so we can enjoy your pictures of the event!
Our very dear friend Jeff Crawford was the creative star who designed our invitations and other printed items. Thank you Jeff (and Frank of course, too)!
There is parking at the venue for an extra cost and the wedding is on a Sunday so free downtown parking. But it's best if you use Uber or Lyft since we will have an open bar (and you know we'll be pouring heavy).
For our out of town guests, we do not have any hotel blocks at any hotels. Paul is able to get some discounted rooms at his hotel(Sheraton Mission Valley)and his sister, Melissa, will be able to get some discounted rooms at hers(Marriott Marquis). Please let Paul know as soon as possible if you'd like him to look into this for you. Our venue is located in downtown San Diego, so there are a lot of hotels within walking distance or short lyft ride away.
We have some recommended spots on the website here but you should always try to go to the zoo or the wild animal park. The trails in San Diego are amazing for early morning hikes. I really enjoyed the midway museum.
