NASA Space Center Houston Visitor Center

Houston's nickname is Space City- and for good reason, it's home to NASA Johnson Space Center! You can spend the day at the official visitor center taking a tram tour to get a behind-the-scenes look at human space exploration, seeing 400+ space artifacts, and more.

A cultural and entertainment epicenter featuring world-renowned performing arts organizations and housing nearly 21,000 seats. Houston is one of only five US cities to have professional resident companies in all of the major performing arts disciplines (ballet, opera, symphony, and theater)! Visit Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, Houston Symphony, Houston Ballet, Houston Grand Opera, Alley Theatre, or Performing Arts Houston specific websites for tickets and showtimes. We have enjoyed many dates to the theatre and symphony!

Houston Museum District

One of the country's densest concentrations of cultural institutions, earning it worldwide accolades, the Museum District comprises 21 member organizations that range widely in terms of size, scope, and focus area. We have gone on several dates to the Museum of Fine Arts Houston (MFAH) and Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS), among others!

Meow Wolf Houston's Radio Tave

There are five Meow Wolf locations throughout the country, with Houston being the newest addition at the end of 2024. It is an immersive experience which we enjoyed when visiting the one in Santa Fe!
