Our venue is right on the water and we’re planning a night full of music, dancing, and cocktails. For safety (and maximum fun!), this will be an adults-only celebration.

Ceremony location vs reception location

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM at Saint Mary’s Church in Charlevoix. Following the ceremony, please join us for cocktail hour and reception starting at 4:30 PM at the Charlevoix Yacht Club. The two venues are less than five minutes apart, making for an easy and quick transition between events.

What to do in between the ceremony and cocktail hour

Charlevoix is a beautiful lakeside town, and there are plenty of ways to enjoy your time between events! Here are a few of our favorite suggestions, all just a short distance from the ceremony and reception: Take a stroll to see the famous Mushroom Houses Walk along Round Lake or head out to the South Pier Light for scenic views Grab a coffee or a light bite at a local café Stop by a brewery or bar for a quick drink Treat yourself to some ice cream downtown Relax by the water at East Park or Michigan Beach Browse the charming shops along Bridge Street Everything is close by, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore and still make it to cocktail hour!

Is uber available in Charlevoix

Answer

Uber is available in Charlevoix, but as a small town, there are a limited number of drivers. Wait times can be longer than in larger cities, and availability may vary—especially during busy summer weekends. Because of this, we recommend planning transportation in advance if needed. The ceremony and reception are less than five minutes apart, so walking or carpooling is often the easiest option. For guests who prefer not to drive, here are a few local transportation services: Charlevoix Taxi Cab & Shuttle Service – offers local rides, airport transportation, and wedding shuttle services throughout the Charlevoix area Up North Rides – private car service and advance-book transportation around Charlevoix and nearby towns There are also a few additional local options in the area (including Charlevoix Cab Co. and regional transit services), but availability can be limited, so booking ahead is highly recommended. We encourage guests to plan ahead, especially if you’ll be relying on a ride between events or at the end of the night!
