First Impressions • Panashe: I first saw Noella preaching at church late in 2022. Her confidence, her beauty — I was completely struck. I remember thinking, “Talking to her must require a prayer and a process.” • Noella: I don’t remember that day at all. But I do remember when he used to walk into church like he was in a slow-motion music video. I’d roll my eyes and think, “Here comes Mr. Dramatic.” Second Encounter • Panashe: I saw her again at her party, in a red dress. And all I could think was, “Yup. Most beautiful girl in the room.” • Noella: I saw him too and thought, “Well, you’re very tall. Thanks for coming… I guess.” The Fateful Wedding Fast forward to Panashe’s aunt’s wedding — and everything changed. • Noella: He casually grabbed my phone to take selfies… and sneakily saved his number on it. I didn’t notice until the next morning. Smooth. Very smooth. (There’s definitely more to this story — but I’m saving it for the wedding day!) • Panashe: No comment… but let’s just say, I had a plan. Our Journey From “We’re just friends” to “We’re not talking” to “We’re bros in Christ” to “Wait… what are we?” It’s been a beautiful, unexpected, God-written adventure. Today Now, here we are.
