Chania Old Town
Chania is a beautiful harbor town with Venetian architecture, quaint shops, and great spots for coffee or exploring on foot. Our favorite cafe is "Monogram" and our favorite restaurant "Throumbi". Enjoy!
Rethymno Old Town
A charming mix of Venetian and Ottoman architecture, narrow alleys, a picturesque harbor and the Fortezza castle overlooking it all. Great for wandering, shopping and evening strolls.
Lake Kournas
Crete’s only freshwater lake, located only 10 minutes from Georgioupoli. You can rent paddleboats or just relax at our favorite taverns "Kavalos" and "Georgia's Taverna".
Dourakis Winery
Located in the foothills near the village of Alikambos, this family-run winery offers tastings of local Cretan wine in a beautiful, peaceful setting.
Loutro
Our favorite village only reachable by ferry from Chora Sfakion. Ideal for swimming, relaxing and soaking in the slower pace of island life.
Preveli Palm Forest
Located in the south of the island, this beach features a palm forest and a river that flows into the sea. The view from above is stunning!
Balos Lagoon
A surreal lagoon of crystal-clear water and white sand. Reach it by ferry from Kissamos or a short hike. One of the most photographed places in Crete.
Elafonissi Beach
Famous for its pink sand and shallow turquoise waters. Perfect for a full-day adventure.
Seitan Limania
A narrow cove with bright blue water, just outside Chania. It's a steep hike down, bring sturdy shoes!
