Adrian and Amanda met the old fashioned way - Online! At the start of 2024, Adrian came across Amanda’s profile, which mentioned that the best way to ask her out was sooner rather than later—so he did! After a brief chat on Hinge, they quickly set a date to meet in early February. Both had served at their respective churches that morning before meeting for their first date at Bei Sushi in South Scottsdale. Despite growing up in different countries, they were surprised by how much they had in common and how easily the conversation flowed. The afternoon passed in a blur of intrigue and laughter, and before they knew it, the restaurant had to kick them out to prepare for dinner service. Not wanting the day to end, they made plans to see each other again the following Saturday. Amanda had never felt such anticipation for a second date. Adrian took her for an evening of Mediterranean food and laughter at a comedy show, setting the perfect stage for their growing connection. Afterwards, they lingered at a local pub, sharing stories and experiences over flights of cider until, once again, they found themselves as the last guests in the restaurant. Still unwilling to say goodnight, they talked until the early hours of the morning—losing track of time as the world faded away. Even though they both faced the next day on little sleep, neither could resist repeating it all again the following weekend. A month of better managed dates later, Adrian was in Amanda's apartment for dinner, when he mentioned that he had been asking God for His blessing that they would be together. This resonated with what Amanda was waiting to hear, and that night, they became "official" and shared their first kiss. Since then, they have treasured every moment together—falling more in love with each passing day, planning adventures, hikes, travels, and, most importantly, their future. Amanda and Adrian are thrilled to celebrate their love, friendship, and commitment with you at their wedding this January. They sincerely thank you for the role that you have played in their lives and look forward to celebrating —and creating— many more memories together!
