Question

Do I need to be vaccinated?

Answer

Yes. Event guidelines will be based on current NY State Guidance at the time of the event. In light of the current NY State regulations, all attendees must be fully vaccinated in order to attend the wedding ceremony and reception. If you are unable to meet these requirements, please let us know as soon as possible. For those who will be attending, please bring proof of vaccination by either (a) emailing/texting a photo of your vaccination card to us prior to the wedding, (b) keeping a photo of your vaccination card on your phone, or (c) setting up the NY State Excelsior Pass on your phone (app only works for those vaccinated in New York State). Option (a) is preferred.

Question

Will I need to get a COVID test?

Answer

Yes. We care about your safety! In order for this wedding to be as safe as possible for everyone attending, we require all our guests to email/text us a negative COVID test result within 24-48 hours to the start of the ceremony. We accept two tests: a. Rapid Antigen Test: negative test taken within 24 hours of the wedding for rapid antigen tests (test taken after May 6 at 5pm). This can be done at many CVS, Walgreens, CityMDs, and other medical clinics. This can also be done with home testing kits such as QuickVue At-Home, although these can be difficult to track down. or b. PCR Test: negative test taken within 48 hours of the ceremony for a PCR test (test taken after May 5 at 5pm). Also available at many CVS, Walgreens, and medical clinics.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5pm. We ask that all guests arrive around 4:30pm to find seating.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We ask that you avoid wearing white (bride and groom colors) or black (inauspicious). Black or white accents are OK.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kiddos, but this event is adults only.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the pandemic, we are aiming to keep this wedding as small as possible while being able to celebrate with everyone we love. Please check the RSVP section to see if you are eligible for a plus one.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Due to our venue's proximity to NYC, we want our guests to have flexibility in choosing their hotel accommodations. However, we have shared in the "Travel" section some hotels that are nearby.

Question

I have a dietary restriction; can I make a special request?

Answer

Please do! Please contact Piraan or Pamela to let us know and we will plan accordingly with our caterer.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We honestly have more than we could ever need already. We are more than happy to just celebrate with our closest family and friends. If you wish to give us a gift, we have set up a honeymoon fund in the Registry section of this website.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of free parking in front of the venue.
