Surprisingly enough, Pamela and Omar went to the same high school, Kennedy High in the Bronx. They hung in different circles so never spoke to one another, but somehow, even with thousands of students, they knew each other's names and faces. Years later, Omar requested Pam as his friend on Facebook. She remembered his handsome face and immediately accepted. Before long, they were chatting on the phone and immediately clicked. They've been inseparable ever since.

The day that Omar proposed to Pamela, he was a ball of nerves. For one, he was horrible at keeping secrets, almost always telling her what her birthday or Christmas present surprise was, sometimes just days before. This was a secret he couldn't spill, and he had to make sure that he didn't give it away. They had planned a trip to the Apple store to buy her new iPhone. Pam didn't suspect a thing. After spending some time at the Genius bar, the two grew hungry and decided to grab a bite to eat. "You want to take a walk in Central Park?" Omar inquired. It sounded romantic so Pam agreed. As they walked through the park hand in hand, they approached the bridge...yep, THEE Bridge. The sun had just begun to set, and he knew the timing was just right. "Let's stand here for a bit and enjoy the scenery," he suggested. Again, Pam went along, utterly clueless...until, Omar started to breathe heavily. "Babe, you okay?" He smiled. "Yes, I'm fine. It's just that--" By the time Pam figured out what was going on, Omar was already down on one knee. He opened a box and pulled out the prettiest ring Pam had ever seen. Of course, we all know what her answer was, and Omar could finally exhale. For someone who is usually indecisive about EVERYTHING, she couldn't have been more sure.
