It’s happening! We’re getting married!!!

Me and Jordan have been friends since high school! We were in JROTC together and he was actually my brothers best friend. At the time we were both in relationships and would always turn to eachother for advice. I was in a toxic relationship and jordan helped me every step of the way until i had the courage to leave it. We hung out at a first friday event and couldnt keep the smiles off our faces. We found a room and just relaxed and laughed all night long. A woman saw us and asked if we were art pieces. Playing along i said were like a shoelace connected at the start, woven through holes/struggles, and eventually well tie the knot. 3 weeks later May 1st 2017 jordan bought be an apple pie from McDonalds (my favorite) and wrote “hey cutiepie wanna be mine” and i fell in love all over again.

I was joking with Jordan for so long for an engagement ring. We went while his family was in town to the flower gardens for what i was told was family photos. After taking photos all over i believed it was over. Then we got by the 40ft christmas tree where midphoto Jordan got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course i cried my eyes out. A random lady in the back screamed “oh my god they are getting engaged!” And the whole room roared in applause.
