You may have noticed that you only received a save the date. That's because the week we got our invitations, the stay-at-home order was issued! From then on, whether we would be able to have our wedding was in question. We ended up using this website and email as our main forms of communication because wedding plans were changing on a day to day basis due to changes to state restrictions. Let us know if you want a physical invitation, because we have them!
On Friday July 3rd, we will be attending the resort's main bonfire! It starts at 7:00, we are headed there right after meeting with the coordinator and expect to be there around 8:00pm. July 4th: At the end of the wedding, we will light some sparklers near the entrance to the resort as a sort of "send off"! We plan to meet around the Victoria Courtyard (near Packer's Bar and Grill) around 10:00pm. Stay tuned, we are also hoping to do a something like a brunch picnic as a way to end the weekend.
Yes! The resort has extra masks if you need one, but right now in Washington State you need to wear a mask when you are in public. If you are outside, and can socially distance 6 feet away from people not in your own household, you can remove your mask. If you are outside and just with people from your own household, you do not need to wear a mask.
The Seaview Cafe is located inside Semiahmoo and is open for breakfast and lunch. Packer's Bar and Grill does to-go orders for food and drink. Off-site: There are breweries open and other restaurants open, but be sure to check ahead as they are all following the state protocol for serving food. If they have outdoor seating, they're likely open. If not, they may just have orders to go.
