Our favorite things to do in Lisbon

-Catch a soccer game at either Benfica or Sporting - Enjoy the many Miraduoros (Viewpoints) Lisbon is famous for a favorite of ours was Miradouro de Santa Luzia - Head to the Belem neighborhood try the birthplace of pastel de nata, visit Jeronimo's Monastery, the tower of Belem and the Monument of the Discoveries - Shop until you drop at Lisbon flea in Alfama Saturday or Tuesday morning, or take a quick Uber to the LX Factory a transformed industrial complex now a hotspot filled with unique shops, trendy restaurants, bars - Catch a Sunrise or Sunset at São Jorge Castle

- Try different Bifana shops, a cheap and easy sandwich on the go Bifanas do Afonso is the most famous - Time Out Market a food hall with an array of choices for anybody - Pink street and the surrounding area for a ton of bars (great for happy hour or late night) - Dallas Burger for a game changing burger - Any Manteigeria you see - stop in every time and grab a pastel de nada - Java Rooftop for good vibes, views and better drinks - Try some seafood - sardines, octopus, clams, shrimps, and cod - We also loved the quirky Lisboa Bar for some classic big European beers

Straight out of a fairytale, Sintra is all dreamy palaces, secret gardens, and misty mountaintops. Just a short ride from Lisbon, this magical little town is where royals used to escape—and now we recommend it as the perfect day trip away from the hustle and bustle of Lisbon. Note it will be very crowded in the Summer so leave early and be prepared to allocate a whole day.

Sun, sea, and a touch of seaside glam—Cascais is Portugal’s chic little coastal escape full of beachy charm, fresh seafood, and sunset strolls along the promenade. Just outside Lisbon (~30 mins Uber or Train) it’s the perfect spot to soak up some sunshine, sip a cocktail, and keep the celebration going!

In the mood for something a bit more laid-back? Just 20 mins away from our venue Ericeira is a small surf town where ocean breeze meets boho vibes and where we'll be having our "Poprawiny". Known for its rugged cliffs, blue-and-white streets, and world-class waves, it’s the perfect place to continue to ride the wave of celebration with us after the big day!
