You're getting MARRIED??

Answer

Yes. Technically, we're legally partnering. We've been platonic life partners for quite some time now, and we decided to make it legal for multiple reasons. Also, we are doing a courthouse ceremony at some (to be determined) point before this event. This is just the party to celebrate!

Does this mean your relationship is changing?

Answer

Besides being legally bound together, no. We still have a deeply loving, but entirely platonic relationship.

Is this event kid-friendly?

Answer

Yes, we'd love to welcome your entire family! After six, however, we do request that our favorite little adventurers head home for the evening so that the rest of the event can be a kid-free experience for those that want to stay and probably play with fire.

Renaissance Faire Attire? Really?

Answer

Really. But, don't worry if that's not your thing! We want you to be comfortable first and foremost. If you want to dress up but don't know where to start, contact us and we can help you with some outfit inspiration!

What about the boxed lunch thing?

Answer

We made this decision in order to make sure that all diets, allergies, and food comforts are met while keeping things chill. We will be providing water, lemonade, and potentially mixed non-alcoholic beverages as well as desserts. That way, each person and family can decide what they want to eat and bring with them instead of a seated dinner, a dish-to-pass situation, and avoiding catering as well (because catering? In THIS economy?!).

An eleven hour party?? Do I have to stay that long?

Answer

Definitely not! This is a much more casual and relaxed celebration than usual. We want people to come and go as they need! If you have to leave by a certain time, or won't be able to join us until later in the day, or need to leave for a few hours and come back, all are absolutely fine!
