She didn’t get marriage right on the first (or second) try, but she paved the way for Pam to succeed on hers. As a nurse and lifelong worrywart, she never let Pam skip school for being “sick” — and also once dismissed a broken arm as “probably nothing.” Forever a partner in crime (with a glass of wine in hand), she’s now officially passing the torch to Denis.
