Where can I stay nearby the venue?

Answer

We are blocking rooms at two nearby hotels in San Rafael for the wedding. These are only blocked for 10/23 to 10/25 so please speak in further detail with the hotels for a longer stay. Fairfax Inn is extremely close by to the venue as well.

Which airport should I land in?

Answer

We suggest landing in Oakland International Airport, which is about 35 minutes from San Rafael. San Francisco International Airport is closer to a 50 minute drive and directions will take you through the city, where you may encounter a lot of traffic depending on the time you land.

What is the parking situation at the venue?

Answer

There is a spacious parking lot at the venue, so no worries about finding a spot. You can leave your car there overnight (especially if you are going to the after party), but please pick up your vehicle before 10 am the next morning.

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

You may bring your little ones to the wedding, but please be mindful of them during both the ceremony and reception. Thank you.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

This will be a formal event. Men - suits and ties/bowties. Women - long gowns. We want everyone feeling beautiful and special with us.

What are we eating?

Answer

Danielle and Eric love Italian food and have booked a wonderful caterer to serve this buffet-style at the wedding. There will be vegetarian and gluten-free options available.

What are we drinking?

Answer

There will be an open beer and wine bar gifted to our guests. Cocktails will need to be purchased at the bar. Soft drinks, water, and coffee will be readily available.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Danielle and Eric would hate to see your faces covered by your phones/cameras and distracted during the beautiful ceremony. Leave it to the photographer and videographer to catch all the beauty and romance. Danielle and Eric would like to see the photos first, please.

Is the ceremony outdoors? What about dinner?

Answer

Both the ceremony and dinner will be outdoors for a magical evening. Reception and cocktail hour will be indoors.
