Holy Matrimony!

It was late 2016. Michelle was giving up on dating and dating was giving up on Anthony. It was around this time that we found each other through an app. Our first date was at an Italian restaurant. Ah, modern romance! What needs to be appreciated is what lies under the surface of this pragmatic story. Some of the brightest minds in the world, with high ideals, had to come together to develop the technology that made our courtship possible and, to us, that’s not only romantic but a little bit of a miracle too. The real magic, however, was outside the algorithm that first matched us: shared mannerisms, life experiences, senses of humor, things we never offered up or fully expressed on our dating profiles but came to discover, in person, with time. In light of those beautifully inexplicable and downright uncanny similarities, perhaps, destiny had a little hand in it all too - like any of the great “how did you meet” stories.
