One might say that we met during the most unprecedented of times. It was 2020 at Penn State "Zoom" University, and Chris was busy studying for his Master's in Electrical Engineering and Emily was spending her days writing her Thesis to earn her Master's in Soil Science. Although our Penn State experience may not of been what we envisioned due to the pandemic we still made the most our time together with hikes on Mount Nittany, nights in with Thai food, and daily walks with Emily's dog, Ellie. After graduating from Penn State in 2021, we moved to Alexandria, VA for Chris' job. Shortly after, Ellie found herself to no longer be an only child after we adopted two cats named Ozzy and Mötley from Chris' brother Steve who was fostering them at the time. We have been loving our time in Virginia so far and spend our free time going to concerts and baseball games, camping and hiking, riding our bikes, playing video games together, and yes, we are still enjoying our daily walks with Ellie. Our official start of forever started on December 6, 2023, when Chris proposed to Emily in the Georgetown area of Washington, DC along the waterfront. Emily was completely surprised and Chris and his siblings, who helped organize the entire night, did an amazing job making the night special! We are so excited to start this next chapter and see where life takes us together!
