FAQs

The Wedding Website of Eleanor Martin and Joshua Palmer
If you have any questions that are not covered here, please do not hesitate to ask us.
Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP as soon as you can so we can organise with our vendors. However, the deadline to RSVP is 1st February 2026. If you have not RSVP'd by this date we will have to count you as a 'no'. Please refer to the RSVP page where you can respond accordingly!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you have received a plus one, they will be on your invite when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

No.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal, however we ask that you please avoid wearing tuxedos unless you want to look like a groomsman. And please avoid wearing white, unless you want to look like... well, just avoid white! Otherwise, please dress to impress in whatever you feel comfortable wearing and getting down in on the dancefloor.

Question

What time does the ceremony begin?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 13:30. We'd recommend arriving from 12:30-13:00. If you are late you will not be able to join the ceremony and will have to wait until the drinks reception. Please bear in mind those travelling from Essex will be at the mercy of the A12 so please account for travel times when planning.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We would love for all our guests to be fully present when we say 'I do' so during the ceremony we ask for no phones or cameras and to leave this to the professionals we have hired for the day. We will of course share all images with you once we receive them. You can however take as many photos as you wish for the rest of the celebrations, we just ask that you do not share any photos of us, AKA the Bride and Groom on social media until we have had the opportunity to do so.

Question

Wedding gifts?

Answer

The greatest gift of all is your presence on our special day! However, should you wish to contribute to our honeymoon fund we will raise a glass to you from South America: https://monzo.me/eleanormartin88?h=Dt1TET Please note this is NOT required, you being there is the most important thing!

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

Please refer to the travel page for recommendations on parking and booking taxis in advance - a requirement given how rural the venue is.

Question

Inside or outside ceremony?

Answer

Weather depending, we plan to have an outside ceremony. The drinks reception will also be held outside - fingers crossed! Ladies - be aware of stilettos and grass.
