Be comfy, be colorful, be fun! The technical dress code title is "Creative Semi-Formal" Our wedding colors are jewel tones -- specifically ruby and sapphire shades, but any jewel tone will do -- if you want to lean into that! Meaning, please do wear red if you'd like! I won't be offended. Just don't wear white, please ;) Ryan & Olivia will be wearing shoes that they can dance all night in. We highly recommend doing the same, if you're so inclined!
Gilroy is the geographical center of Paradise, CA, and the Greater Los Angeles Area, so it seemed fitting -- and yes, we really do love Garlic.
The simple answer is, given the insurance qualifications for our venue, we are not able to invite any guests under the age of 21 due to the presence of alcohol at this event. The more complicated answer is, we both love all of the kids in our family, but the proverbial You and I know that kids really don't have that much fun at weddings, and you won't have fun if you're spending the evening looking after your kids at our wedding. And, honestly, worrying about your kids would immediately become Olivia's #1 priority, and that ain't it, kid. The bride is a summer camp director and can't help but count heads. Should you decide to bring your child regardless of the above message, you will be asked to leave, no exceptions. We will not be providing childcare, so please plan ahead.
No. This is a very small wedding, and we can't make room for any extra people! We love you, though! If a specifically named person on the envelope cannot attend the wedding, please fill out the RSVP form as soon as humanly possible and kindly do not invite anyone additional to fill their space. We do hate to be sticklers about this, but we have a lot of people we really really wish we could invite, and not nearly enough room for all of them. I kid you not, there is an actual, real life waitlist for a wedding invitation -- which is the only struggle of having a huge family you love, and wonderful friends surrounding you!
