Hunter and I had always knew of each other, however we never thought we would be where we are today. We met through our mutual best friends. They worked so hard trying to get us together, but it wasn't working out. One day Sydnie and I were hanging out when she asked to see my phone so she could message her boyfriend Tyler. Of course I said yes. Little did I know she had messaged Hunter off of my facebook account. Not too long after I got a response back. We thought we would only talk for two weeks or so, but that turned into five years along with an engagement. We've made it through distance all the way from 200 miles apart to almost 7,000 miles apart. I think at this rate, we can make it through anything.
It was a gloomy Saturday. My parents had invited us to go watch the UK game at Roosters with them, but first, we had to drop Bo (our fur baby) off at the dog park with Hannah and Mia (her fur baby). We get to the park and he said Hannah needed me to look at a piece of wood for her wedding by the barns. We park the car and start walking towards the barns. As I'm walking in front of Hunter he says "Megan turn around". I turned around to find him pulling a ring box out of his boot. He then asked what I've always dreamed of hearing. The dog park is somewhere we go very often and will continue to go for many years to come, but now it holds one of the most special places in our hearts.
