We're getting married!

Our love story began at Cracker Barrel, where we both worked while attending the same university. I was a server and Mike was a cashier. Although he had asked me out several times, I was determined to prioritize my studies and career. As we continued to work together, our paths crossed more frequently, and a friendship slowly developed. Over time, that friendship blossomed into something more, and we are now excited to share our special day with all of you.

On Christmas Eve we landed in Montego Bay, Jamaica for a much needed vacation. It was a trip that almost didn't happen. The week prior to the vacation, Mike contracted covid, the sewer in our home backed up, and our cat needed emergency surgery. Thankfully, everything worked out and we managed to keep our original travel plans. The night of our arrival at our resort in Ochi Rios, Mike planned a romantic dinner by the beach. It was while we were overlooking the ocean surrounded by candlelight that Mike got down on one knee and popped the question. I will forever remember the overwhelming feeling of love and joy that I felt at that moment.
