Get the POPE burger and nachos. Trust us on this one. Afterwards, walk around the East Passyunk neighborhood. Check out Urban Jungle, The Bottle Shop or Rival Bros Coffee.

The Pub on Passyunk East

The best restaurant in the country. Seriously.

You'll want reservations 90 days in advance or you can brave the line for seats at the bar. Get there early.

Zahav

Great place to get away from the city and take a walk through nature. We love taking the dogs for a walk here.

Wissahickon Valley Park

Lauren's favorite brewery. Great beer with funny names. They have brewery tours and a nice outdoor space with lots of games.

Evil Genius Beer Company

Dock Street Brewery West

Beautiful art gallery that was originally a private collection. Lots of impressionist artwork. The Philadelphia Art Museum and Rodin are nearby, too.

Barnes Foundation

We went here on our first date. Get the frozen margaritas.

Mission Taqueria

Gorgeous block in Old City of preserved colonial homes. A short walk from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall.

Elfreth's Alley

Fun food hall that's very close to Old City, the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Also where we had our second date!

The Bourse

Forget Pat's and Geno's, this place has the best cheesesteaks in Philly! While you're in Roxborough, feel free to swing by Philadelphia (now Jefferson) University, Lauren's Alma Mater.
