Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Palina Barel and Cole Halenda
There are so many things to do, it is hard to narrow down to just a few. For those options with a service provider, we’ve provided a direct link to their website, rather than through various travel platforms. We have also spoken with them directly and have some confidence that they will do their best to look after you. For the most part we will leave you to make your own arrangements. The only exception is for golf on Friday morning. If you are interested in partaking in that please let us know and we will do our best to organize groups.
Myra Canyon Trail (Myra Canyon Trestles)

Myra Canyon Trail (Myra Canyon Trestles)

BC, Canada

Just 24 km (about 40 minutes) from downtown Kelowna, the Myra Canyon section of the Kettle Valley Rail Trail is one of the region’s most popular and scenic outdoor experiences. Designated a National Historic Site, this former railway route features 18 wooden trestle bridges, two rock tunnels, and dramatic canyon views, all accessible by foot, bike, or e-bike. Access the trail from either Myra Station—main entrance (via McCulloch Road and Myra Forest Service Road) or Ruth Station (via June Springs Road). Both trailheads offer parking and pit toilets, but no food or water; come prepared. There are so many wineries, cideries and breweries in the Okanagan and just as many ways to go visit them. We suggest you consider Lakeside Eco-Sports because they come highly rated and offer tremendous flexibility, for either guided or self-guided tours. By all accounts their bikes are excellent. If you prefer self-guided, they have their own app which provides over 30 different tours and they are more than happy to help you choose a route that suits how ambitious you’re feeling.
