Pali and Jason first crossed paths while both were working at a local school. On his first day working, Jason saw Pali and was immediately struck by her beauty and was excited when he was placed in her group during a professional development training. Excitement soon turned to horror as his group was responsible for assembling a brand-new bike for students, and he had worn a full suit that day; does he mess up his suit to impress Pali with his construction abilities, or does he keep clean and hope the suit did its tricks? Let’s just say Jason likes his outfits. Time went on working with each other exchanging casual greetings in the halls and a few text messages sent by Jason to Pali in order to start a conversation, which she politely ignored. Finally, one day Pali asked Jason to go out and get some drinks to celebrate a co-worker’s new job. Jason was shocked and didn’t know what to say, “Me?” After a few moments of awkward excitement from Jason, Pali shrugged it off and went about her business, and Jason thought he had finally got his first date. What wasn’t supposed to be a date quickly turned into one as all the co-workers were late, leaving Jason and Pali together for over an hour talking and sharing drinks. Finally, the ice was broken, and Jason and Pali began communicating regularly, yet Pali refused to date Jason, claiming, “I do not date co-workers.” Eventually, Pali caved to his repeated requests but would not let Jason get to close, ending their dates with “Do not hug me when we leave.” Soon a solid relationship was formed, and Pali left their mutual job – allowing Jason to date her finally. After four years of dating, Jason finally popped the question, placing the ring on the wrong finger, and Pali said yes! We are so looking forward to starting this new chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people.
