How We Met

2014

Our "how we met" story is short & sweet. We both grew up in Howell, but we didn't meet until our senior year of high school. We chatted for a few days, but nothing came of that. We went our separate ways until our freshman year of college. Gino added me on a social media platform & we began chatting. We went on a few dates & began dating shortly after! PS - for a more detailed "How we met" story, check out the memory table at our reception! For our three year anniversary I wrote Gino a book on how we met & we will have it on display for guests to read!

He popped the question!!

May 6, 2018

Gino & I were gifted a cruise for Christmas from Gary & Leanna. We set sail on the Harmony of the Seas in June of 2018. I was not expecting to get engaged on the cruise, but I was hoping we would! Gino didn't want me to expect a thing so he had Brooke (Tay's BFF) tell me to not get my hopes up when I would bring up getting engaged on our vacation. He had her tell me that he wanted to save up some more money (sneaky...). On our first excursion we were in the Bahamas. It was GORGEOUS. We went snorkeling in the coral reefs, where Gino was hoping to pop the question. That didn't go as planned since we never went onto the beaches like he was hoping. So we got back on our cruise ship & hung out for the rest of the evening. We got dinner at our favorite buffet spot, Wind Jammers, & after that he wanted to watch the sunset on one of the balconies. We were the only two on the balcony, which was amazing for being on such a populated ship. Before I knew it, Gino was on one knee asking me to marry him! (I can't tell you what he said because I think I blacked out from being so excited) I of course said YES & will always remember that special moment.
