Our story began in the most unexpected place: a dating app. Yes, it's true, we met on Tinder! After just one date, we both knew we had found something special. It wasn't easy at first with schedules, with Mikey working at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and me attending school at Sonoma State University, but between our demanding schedules and the distance, we were determined to make the time to see each other whenever we had the chance. We navigated our way through the challenges of school and work, and even the military life that was a constant for Mikey. We supported each other every step of the way. Mikey was my biggest cheerleader as I finished college, and he perfectly wrapped up his fourth year at the station, just in time for a new chapter in our lives. That chapter led us to North Carolina, a place where neither of us knew anyone. We faced the move together, relying solely on each other as partners. That shared experience, leaning on one another through thick and thin, only made our bond stronger and our love deeper. After three long years in North Carolina, and five incredible years together, Mikey proposed on April 20, 2023, at the beautiful Cape Lookout Lighthouse. Now, after our big move back to Monterey, we are thrilled to be closer to our family and friends and to finally celebrate our wedding with all of you. Our journey has been full of challenges and beautiful moments, and we are so excited to see what the next chapter holds!
