Our story began through our good friends, Jorge and Aracely, who introduced us when we were in our early 20s. We had noticed each other at house parties on the south side of Chicago and, intrigued by each other, mentioned our interest to our friends. It wasn’t long before we officially met at Angie’s 21st birthday party and sparks flew. Though we briefly dated, life took us in separate directions. Years passed, and something about the distance made us realize how much we had changed and grown. When we reconnected in our late 20s, it felt different—maybe it was the time apart, maybe it was maturity, or maybe it was just the right moment. Whatever the reason, our connection deepened and we fell in love. Now, after all the twists and turns, we’re ready to start our forever together.
