Paityn and Dustin were neighbors for 9 years before Paityn moved to Edmonton to work a job she had only dreamed about. After living in Edmonton for about 6 months and coming home every weekend to see Dustin did they realize they were meant to be. October of 2022 Dustin said “I feel like you should be my girlfriend” and how could Paityn say no! This is where their love story began. Only 7 months after they started dating Paityn moved into the welcoming Solway household and back to Cold Lake, where she knew she belonged. In September of 2023 Dustin and Paityn and of course Onyx, decided it was time to get their own place and that’s what they did, they bought a beautiful home. October of 2024 Dustin brought Paityn on a quick weekend get away, and after a day of exploring and visiting the beautiful Jasper national park they decided to make one last stop. At a small lake called Wildhorse Lake, Dustin dropped to one knee and asked Paityn to marry him and so began, the rest of forever.
