Maid of Honor
Myah has been there for every stage of my relationship with Drew and beyond. With the amount of hours I've spent crying to her about him, she's earned this role valiantly. Myah and I lived, worked, and went to school together. Her open-mindedness and patient presence in my life has helped me overcome many personal struggles.
Best Man
Better known as Gibby, Hunter is the prototypical young brother. While much of our relationship was antagonistic growing up, today I consider him to be a man of integrity and honor who challenges me to embody the same. Gib has become a confidant whom I can trust and I will forever cherish the role he plays in our life moving forward.
Bridesmaid
Krista has been a ridiculously faithful friend to Drew and I. We weren't very close for a number of years and simply just shared a friend group, but in the last few years we've all walked through hardship together that has cultivated a deep bond. Krista is a super dear friend to the both of us.
Groomsman
Jacob is one of my dearest friends. We have known each other for only a few years, but our friendship is among the deepest I currently have. Jacob was the person I went to when I was going to ask Paisley to be my girlfriend all three times. I love his vulnerability and unique perspective of the world; he is someone I find myself learning from consistently. His central role in my life will carry on into Paisley and I's marriage.
Bridesmaid
At 7-8 years and still going, Lisa was my high school best friend and my current advice hotline. Lisa gives me the unconventional advice I don't want to hear; like "Don't go on a date with that guy. Wait for Drew to change." Her consistency with me through our relational challenges and distance taught me how to love and to be loved.
Groomsman
Wyatt is my (Paisley) older brother. Some of our best moments have included making him play my Barbie video game when it got too difficult, nerf gun wars that made me cry, and stealing Lego and Bionicle pieces from him when I was angry.
Bridesmaid
So many of my most valuable memories include Alexis. From orientation day of freshman year of high school, to a road trip to AZ right as COVID-19 started, to mental breakdowns in the car in Kona, Hawaii. Even in the most serious moods, Alexis Larson refers to me as "P-Dawg" which tells you how deep our friendship goes. After everything this girl has done with me, what is a valuable memory in my life if Alexis isn't there? :)
Groomsman
I have known Isaac since my sophomore year of high school. He was my roommate in college and continues to be one of my most trustworthy friends. I consider him a brother and his family has my utmost respect. Our relationship is marked by vulnerability and mutual understanding, which we needed most in chatting about each other's high school and college flings. I cherish Isaac's grace and wisdom.
Bridesmaid
Brittany Grant is Drew's older sister- but in true older sibling fashion, was more like a second mom to him growing up. If superheroes were real, Brit would probably be one. She is unintimidated by challenge and responsibility. She has a brilliant mind paired with an amazing work ethic. I am excited to call her my sister-in-law because she's high on the list of people I would ask for life advice from.
Groomsman
From the humble beginnings of Jake and Brittany's dating days, Jake's humor and carefree personality spice up my world. Jake is thoughtful and humble, among the world's best fathers. The way he values and prioritizes his family and his love for my sister will be a model which I seek to carry into my own marriage.
Bridesmaid
Drew considers Ciera to be basically his little sister and I call her a friend! We met in college, but have grown into completely different people since then, and have recently rekindled our friendship. We have bonded over our similar experiences, boy problems, and spiritual journeys. She has become quite a consistent friend in my life, and I deeply appreciate the constant effort she puts into our friendship.
Groomsman
Luke is among the closest I have to another brother. From the time we met when I was three to traveling the world together to being housemates, his consistency defines our friendship. Soon to be married, his relationship with Gretta started only weeks before Paisley and I's. Their engagement followed only weeks after ours; their marriage mere months before our own. This shows Luke and I's close companionship. He is a true wild card. You never know what you will get with him.
Flower Girl
Daughter of Drew's sister Brittany.
Ring Bearer
Son of Drew's sister Brittany.
Mother of the Bride
Father of the Bride
Mother of the Groom
Father of the Groom
Honor Attendant
While Drew and I were messing around in 'friendship', Rachael and Hunter (Drew's younger brother) met, dated, got engaged, and married. Rachael paved the way for women entering the Hanson family, and I respect her for how she navigated that process. I look forward to having such a strong and stable woman as a sister-in-law.
Usher
Another friend who I have known since I was a toddler, Noah's friendship has been defining for much of my life. From swapping high school crushes to competition in every area of life imaginable, he is a brother in the truest sense of the word. Despite living hundreds of miles apart since high school, whenever we see each other it feels like we pick up right where we left off. Never skipping a beat, Noah's compassion and encouragement continue to characterize our friendship.
Usher
Brett has been a friend of mine since the early days of grade school. While we didn't become very close until we traveled to Africa together, he has always been loyal, joyful, and easy to tease. I have always appreciated his ability to listen and make people feel heard and valued. His quirky personality will brighten the dimmest of moods.
Officiant
Drew's youth pastor growing up that has officiated every wedding of his childhood friend group.
