We must pre-determine seat counts in Korea, making it challenging to allow our lovely friends a plus-one. We kindly ask that plus-one requests only be made for spouses and serious significant others. Please make these requests as soon as possible.
Although we love your little ones, our events throughout the week are adult-only affairs. If you still would like to bring your kids to the wedding, they are welcome to come. However, please know that it will be hard to leave during the wedding ceremony once the doors are closed. *cough, cough, no bathroom breaks until after the ceremony has concluded...

While there are still 112 countries whose citizens don't need to apply for visas before visiting Korea for 30 to 90 days, depending on your nationality, you may need a visa or the K-ETA. So please do check ahead of time. *Currently, U.S. citizens can visit South Korea without a visa and stay up to 90 days. Additionally, from April 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024, the Korean Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) is not required for US citizens traveling for short-term business or tourism purposes. But please double-check before traveling, as things change daily!
Flight costs on average are around $1,500.00. While we won't be arranging a block of hotel rooms as initially planned, we've provided recommendations (travel tab) to assist you in finding accommodations that suit your preferences.

And yes, you can use any card, including Amex, in most places. We recommend bringing some cash as smaller stores and the subway/buses will only take cash to reload unless using the app.
Wi-Fi is everywhere and faster than most places in the US. Plus, you'll find free public Wi-Fi in basically every central point of transit, tourism, and general town hub. But we do highly suggest you purchase a SIM card. They are very cheap; you can order and pick them up at the airport in advance! ABSOLUTELY...not. Use NaverMaps or KakaoMaps. Both have English versions of the app. Also, we use Kakao, which is our messaging app, and it is used for everything here. You'll need an account if you want to call a cab. Please add your US number to the account in advance to verify your info! Chug-ui-geum (축의금) is customary congratulatory money given in an envelope at Korean weddings. The money helps pay for the reception and goes as a gift to the couple. For our international friends, please do not feel pressure to give.
Oh, tricky question. Two weeks if you plan on visiting places other than Seoul, and roughly a week for just Seoul!
