Best Woman
Dan first met Katie when she joined his DnD group, and they’ve been fast friends since. Katie is always able to surprise with her unique characters and creative problem solving. Dan is always grateful to have Katie’s gentle and supporting presence in his life, and he is honored to have her stand with him as his Best Woman in his wedding. Katie is an Anthropologist and cares for Saratoga the cat with Mark.
Man of Honor
Rachel met Mark when he showed up one day at the comic book shop to play DnD and she awkwardly tried to explain how to build a character. Luckily he didn’t mind the awkwardness and the two of them built a friendship out of bad puns and a love of True Crime. When he’s not busy driving Rachel home from DnD, Mark works as an IT Professional at Merchandise Mart and is a loving father to Saratoga the cat.
Groomswoman
Not only are Casey and Dan the oldest and youngest children in their family, they are also the nerdiest. Casey plays in Dan’s weekly DnD game, frequently overcoming challenges with witty creativity and unbelievably good dice rolls. Casey is a Counselor and Care Advocate, is married to Nick, and has Peyton and Watson as her wonderful pups.
Bridesman
Andrew dashed Rachel’s hopes of being an only child forever, but she has since forgiven him. They share a love of video games and Rachel is also to blame for getting him into Anime. Andrew is currently a student at Michigan State University.
Groomswoman
Dan has known Meaghan for pretty much his entire life, considering she’s his older sister. Meg and her wife Caitlin constantly remind Dan of how good life with someone you love can be, making the upcoming ceremony even more exciting. Meaghan works as a Manager of Policy and Advocacy and is the loving wife to Caitlin and mother to her son Finn.
Bridesmaid
Rachel was excited when Katie was born since she finally got a sister. The pair spent many weekend afternoons ganging up on their brother and putting on fashion shows. And there’s never been a more iconic duo than Rachel and Katie teaming up as Birdo and Yoshi in Mario Party 8. Katie is a student at Wayne State University.
Groomswoman
If it wasn’t for Dan, Bridget would have enjoyed life as the youngest child forever, however that had to change when he was brought into the world. Bridget has shown Dan time and again how her dedication and determination have pushed her to achieve all she sets out for. Bridget is a Nurse Midwife and looks after her cat Echo.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and Erin have always been close, even when they got a little too competitive playing video games or argued about fashion choices. She was the first person Rachel called after getting engaged and both sisters were a happy sobbing mess within minutes of starting the video call. Erin is starting her third year at Michigan State University, studying Psychology and Data Science with a minor in Japanese.
Groomsman
Dan and Nick share many hobbies and passions, from board games to rpgs, and Dan loves that he gets to call Nick his brother. Nick plays in Dan’s weekly DnD game, where his ingenuity and kind nature shine, even if Casey takes all of his good luck. Nick works as a Retail Buyer, is married to Casey, and is a father to his dogs Peyton and Watson
Bridesmaid
Rachel first met her when Sara’s wife invited Rachel to have brunch with the two of them. Then Rachel didn’t see either of them for months due to work commitments. Fearing she’d scared Sara off, Rachel was relieved when Sara returned and still wanted to be friends with her. Rachel is thankful to have Sara’s support and encouragement in her life and doesn’t mind that she got her hooked on watching 90 Day Fiance. Sara is a Social Media Manager and part-time referee for her cats Piper and Koda.
