We have always loved relaxing in nature and on being on the water, and didn't think our wedding should be any different. We designed the weekend around that idea, so we could get married and then hang out with our loved ones for a few days to celebrate! Our wedding ceremony will be Friday evening followed by a reception. But everyone is encouraged to return Saturday to hang out! We will have so many fun things planned and we can't wait to celebrate with everyone!
Three Otters Eco Retreat is in Cacapon, West Virigina. The road is windy, steep and narrow. Please take this into account when planning your trip. Give yourself enough time to arrive and plan accordingly for a safe ride to your overnight accommodations. DO NOT follow the GSP Directions! We will provide a landline number to those who wish to have it.
Anyone is welcome to arrive any time after 3:45. The location is remote, and requires time to drive there so please plan accordingly.
We do not have a hotel block. We have included the names of nearby hotels. There are also a number of vacation rentals in the area. If you have questions about where to stay, please reach out! The venue's accommodations are all spoken for and we will not be able to accommodate any additional guests.
There is no dress code or strict timeline for Saturday. Come ready to relax in the outdoors. We will serve brunch, lunch and dinner on Saturday. Sunday we will have breakfast while we pack up before departing. If you would like to return Sunday morning to get in one last cast, float or hike, you are more then welcome to.
If you are returning Saturday, bring whatever you want or need in order to enjoy your time. Things to bring would be kayaks, tubes, swimsuits, walking shoes, fishing rods, camp chairs, games etc. If you are fishing, you will need your fishing license. Check back as we will include more items!
As much as we love all of your little ones, we have decided to make this an adult only weekend. This includes furry children as well. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can relax and celebrate with us.
