What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that you arrive 15-30 minutes early, allowing our ceremony to begin promptly at 4:00 pm.

Are children welcome?

Answer

We absolutely love your little ones— however, we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration (with the exception of family) due to venue capacity. We hope you understand and can take this as an opportunity for a parent's night out!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is semi-formal, and we recommend choosing outfits that are both elegant and comfortable while keeping the South Dakota summer weather in mind. For example, women could wear cocktail or mid-length dresses, jumpsuits, and dressy sandals or wedges as the ceremony will be outdoors. Men could wear slacks with a button-down shirt, and ties and jackets are optional.

What kind of bar is available at the venue?

Answer

Our venue has a strict "no outside beverage policy," and we ask that you respect that policy. There will be mixed drink options available for purchase as well as pre-purchased kegs and bottles of wine for you to enjoy. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

How soon should we book hotels/lodging?

Answer

We suggest booking your hotel or lodging as soon as possible, as the summer is a very busy time in this area of South Dakota. Please see our travel page for accommodations!
