We’re married!

After going on three dates, we became official. Soon following that, we moved in together. We first lived in Bloomington, where Travis managed a math tutoring center, and Paige worked various jobs. We adopted a cat, Rosco, who’s been like our first child. We relocated to St. Paul, where we adopted another cat, Chili. Paige works as an Insurance Specialist for Allina Health while Travis works as a Sourcing Specialist for StrategicSource. In March we were approved to buy a house, and in May we bought a home in Dayton’s Bluff. Of course, we needed to get a dog, and Onix was then adopted. We’re excited for what homeownership has in store for us and our three fur babies.

We purchased a letter book for Valentine’s Day, where each page has a prompt that the writer answers. The letter is sealed, and the date it can be opened is written on the envelope. We each answered a prompt about the other to and they were to be opened one month later, on our two year anniversary. As Paige read her letter, titled “What I love about you”, the very end of the letter read “Now it is time for me to get down on one knee...” and as Paige looked up, Travis was indeed on his knee, accompanied by a gorgeous ring.
