Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 p.m. We recommend arriving as early as 4 p.m. when doors to our venue open, to park, find a seat and get comfortable. While we love y'all ... please be on time! Any guests who arrive after 4:30 p.m. will not be allowed inside until the ceremony is over.
We request our guests wear formal attire. Guests can wear tuxedos or dark suits; floor-length dresses; cocktail dresses; or dressy pantsuits or jumpsuits. Please avoid wearing shades of white, champagne or gold, as these colors are reserved for the bride and her bridal party. Our ceremony will be indoors, but there will be an outdoor cocktail hour on a covered patio. Heaters will be provided if the temperature requires it, but we all know how North Carolina weather can be!
Your invitation will specify how many seats have been saved in your honor by noting either the name of your guest or “And Guest.” We cannot accommodate additional guests.
We hope you understand that we are limiting our wedding to children over the age of 12. Children are only invited if named on the invitation. Your invitation will be made out to “The {Your Last Name} Family.”
If you’re able and staying downtown, we encourage you to walk from your hotel, as parking is limited. Uber/Lyft are also available, though less so later in the evening. If you’d like to drive, see below for information on parking.
Parking is available next door in the Accent Hardwood Flooring lot, around the corner next to Durham Athletic Park and across the street. There is also ample street parking throughout downtown.
