From our research, the best and cheapest airport to fly in and out of are SFO (San Francisco) -> MXP (Milan, Italy)
There are a few options; 1. Take a bus! This option will take you from Malpensa Airport → Milan → Lenno. It will have a connection to a different bus once you get into Como. It is Googles "recommended option" and will take you about 2 hours and 25 minuets ranging from anywhere between $12-$17 for one passenger, one-way. 2. If you're open to it, you can rent a car! This option will get from Malpensa Airport → Lenno. Thankfully in Italy, you drive/sit on the same side of the road/car as in the US. Traffic lights and stop signs work the same as most other countries, but, like most of Europe, right turns during red lights are ALWAYS ILLEGAL. This option will take you about 1 hour and 9 minutes ranging from anywhere between $30-$50 per day- about $215-$350 total if you plan to stay all 7 days. 3. Take a taxi.... We really don't recommend this option. This option will get you from Malpensa Airport → Lenno and will take about 1 hour and 9 minutes ranging from anywhere between $220-$270 one-way... Yikes!
In June, its stays around 75 degrees during the day and about 60 at night, with 10 days of rain, pack accordingly.
The Ceremony will be outside, the cocktail hour will be covered and our dinner with be outside. In the case that it rains, we will relocate the ceremony and dinner to a covered area.
Girls, you will be wearing light pastel silk dresses in the style and color of your choice. Please check in with Paige prior to buying to make sure someone hasn't already picked that color Boys (and Sita), you will be matching with Tobin in a tan suit/dress- very Italy.
You'll either be traveling with Paige or Tobin, so you'll always be in the loop of when we need to be somewhere, but we are allowed access to Villa del Balbainello at 6pm and we will need to depart at 8ish.
We will be having a private chef make us dinner at the Villa after the ceremony. Prior to dinner, we will be having a grazing table at Cocktail Hour. Once we get back to the villa we are staying at, we'll be greeted by finger food. For our actual meal we will be having; Starter: Risotto Carnaroli Acquerello Cream of Zucchini with a touch of Mascarpone, Grilled Zucchini, Organic Lemon Zest and Artisanal Smoked Scamorza Cheese Main Dishes (pick one): Breeding Trout Fillet cooked Meunière with Butter, Parsley, Almonds, and Lemon or Braised Beef “Brasato-Stracotto” in Chianti Red Wine Sauce Dessert: Wedding Cake from a Local Bakery And An Assortment of Italian Desserts

At Cocktail Hour, we will have an open bar. Once we head back to the villa, we will just be having wine and spirits-- no bar.
We are not asking for gifts! We understand the type of commitment it takes to make it to a destination wedding, your presence alone is a gift enough. If there is something small and sentimental you'd like to give us, we will always accept gifts you feel need to be given.
Here's the thing... If you're not already in the loop, only a select few know about the wedding! We're going for that Anakin and Padmé style, keeping it hush-hush. So, for now, let's stick to posting about our fantastic trip. Please refrain from mentioning the wedding until either Paige or Tobin has officially shared the news. Once they do, feel free to post away! Of course, if you're Chantal and Harry, you're the exception – post away and capture those behind-the-scenes moments!
