French’s Point is situated near Stockton Springs in the mid-coast region, with excellent local options for dining, shopping, galleries, and recreational activities. Picturesque nearby coastal villages include Camden, Rockport, Belfast, Bucksport, Blue Hill, and Ellsworth.
Fly into Boston, MA; Portsmouth, NH; Portland, ME or Bangor International Airport, ME (BGR, our recommendation), a 40-minute drive from French’s Point. Because the area is relatively rural, a rental car could be useful. Bus, taxi, and car services are also available in the region, but limited.
