Hi! We'd like to take this opportunity to tell you all how we met! It all began when Paige started working for a local mental health agency in Dayton,OH and was told she would be shadowing a fellow case manager, Rob. Before she would shadow said Rob, the HR director, Karen (whom Paige was already good friends with) was already boasting on him for his musical and culinary talents...along with his wonderful comedic abilities. The two initially bonded over their mutual love of cats and bourbon...yet, Rob was taken at the time, so Paige was left to fend alone in the wilderness of dating life. Fast forward to January of 2018. Paige posts a selfie that catches Rob's eye. Not being taken anymore, he proceeds to comment with three fire emojis...that's right...three. Paige begins to think, "Is this rustically handsome bearded beauty into me?" (Rob wrote that part). Anyway, the two begin to talk a bit more. Then, while Rob left for a four week tour, the communication increased: light texting turns to phone calls, then to three hour long video chats. The couple speak often about their growing feelings for each other, and start making plans to spend time together once Rob gets home. With one week left until she could see her knight in shining armor, Paige was surprised when Rob arrived early to pick her up for what she thought was a girls night with a mutual friend. The two have been inseparable ever since.

November 2018: Paige has asked Rob if he will be, or has ever been black Friday shopping. With a quick and definite response, he declares he doesn't go and would never want to go. Fast forward to Thanksgiving, he tells Paige he is going black Friday shopping with his SISTERS down towards Cincinnati! Paige finds this suspicious but doesn't question it. However, questions do arise after Rob's sisters pick him up. Paige tries to leave to meet some friends, but is blocked in by Rob's car and has to call him. He responds quickly with ease that he can come right back home as he is only at The Greene (where he was actually purchasing something very special)! Suspicious, Paige pats him down when he gets home to feel nothing out of the ordinary (he was actually smart enough to not have the special item on him at the time). With evening setting in, Paige and Rob have invited over two very important ladies in their lives for a night of dinner and cards. After the meal, in a sweatshirt and three day unwashed hair, Paige is washing dishes when Rob (in front of family) yells her name. Startled, Paige walks over to find Rob, down on one knee, holding a ring. Paige, still startled, withholds her answer long enough to run back to turn off the water before the sink overflows. She returns; and with excitement, love, and somewhat no surprise...Paige says Yes!!
