Walking is the easiest and best way to explore the city. It is made up majority of cobblestone streets, so keep that in mind when packing footwear! We do not recommend renting a car, as parking is not convenient around the city center but again, totally up to you!
The weather in San Miguel is beautiful year round. In November, the highs are in the mid 20's and the low around 13 degrees. We recommend bringing layers and wearing a light jacket or blazer at night - especially for the rooftop bars. There is very little precipitation this time of year. The streets of SM are made of cobblestone, so heels can get tricky while walking around the city center.
Ladies: a floor length dress, chic pantsuit or a mini/mid length dress Gentlemen: a suit/tuxedo, dress shirt & tie Unlike traditional black tie colour schemes, we encourage you to wear fun and bright colours. We want you to look and feel your best! Be mindful that the property is grass and cobblestone so we suggest a small heel or sandal for the ladies! Unfortunately, no. This is a different trip than most of us are used to. However, there are lots of nearby places that we recommend visiting after your stay in SM. Mexico City is a 4 hour bus ride direct from San Miguel and costs around $40 CAD. Cancun is a 2 hour flight away and costs around $80 CAD and then you can fly home from there if you would like to end your trip on the beach. This is what us newlyweds plan to do!

A few brides have recommended Leandro's services. http://www.las4milpas.mx/tours-and-transportation/ We would advise against having a rental car during your time in San Miguel de Allende, as it is very difficult to find parking. Also, San Miguel is a very small town and everything is in walking distance from one another. If you do need car transportation, cabs and Ubers are very affordale and easily accessible.
