One of Nick & Paige's favorite towns at the foothills right outside of Denver. This is also where Coors Brewery is located - book a tour if this is up your ally! Some of Nick & Paige's favorites are Golden Mills (food and beer hall) and Cafe 13 (amazing breakfast spot). You can also tube in the Clear Creek in the summer.
Red Rocks is a must see if you are traveling to Denver! It is an iconic concert venue but also a great place for a short hike. The views are breathtaking and they have a restaurant on site if you want to stop for a quick bite/drink. The Trading Post Trail is a short 1.5 mile loop that takes you through multiple rock formations - one of Nick & Paige's go-to when hosting out of town guests.
Another go-to of Paige & Nick's. Union Station is located in the heart of downtown and full of restaurants and shops, including ice cream, coffee, and a book store! Surrounding Union Station, are other places that Paige & Nick love to visit, including Lincoln's Speakeasy for cheap drinks and good vibes, Wynkoop for pool and craft beer, and Flight Club for a fun game of darts (with a twist).
Larimer Square is where the iconic CO flags are located. It is home to multiple shops and restaurants and is also near the 16th Street Mall which is known for its pedestrian walkway and many shops/activities. Nick & Paige's favorite spot around here is Bao Brewhouse (try the crispy tuna rice!)
The River North neighborhood (RiNo for short) of Denver is one of Nick & Paige's favorites. It is known for its industrial vibe with incredible street art. It has a large number of breweries that Paige & Nick frequent often, including O'Dells and Ratio Beerworks. Redeemer Pizza is also an awesome place to grab a slice (try the back entrance).
This is a bit of a drive from the wedding venue, but a well known tourist destination in Colorado Springs. It is a registered National Landmark with gorgeous views and an area that you can both drive or hike through. Follow the website link to learn more about trails and parking (you do not need to pay for entry).
Georgetown is a cute mountain town that Paige & Nick often stop in when driving in/out of the mountains. It is home to the Georgetown Railroad that can take you on a gorgeous train ride around the Rocky Mountains. Check out the attached website for more details. PS - stop by the Georgetown Brewing Company while you're there!
Visiting Rocky Mountain National Park is an obvious choice when you are visiting Colorado. Please note, this is a farther drive for most people and would likely be a day trip from where the majority of guests are staying. The city of Estes Park is the entry point of the National Park and is also a lovely place to shop and eat. Park passes and reservations do need to happen in advance so please visit the attached website for more details.
